01-31- Fluorite #3.

Fluorite reflects light from everywhere. In this sketch, I centered the design of its beautiful geometrical symmetry around a hole-centered inclusion – a lost electron liberated by irradiation – that defines its color spectrum -. Gemdat.org gave me the idea for it. Nature is truly amazing!

I’m no longer positive where you are getting your information, but good topic. I needs to spend some time finding out much more or figuring out more. Thanks for excellent info I was looking for this info for my mission.

You really make it seem so easy together with your presentation but I find this matter to be really something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complex and very wide for me. I am taking a look ahead on your next publish, I will try to get the cling of it!

      Hi Alex,
Thx for your comment. Relax, enjoy, that’s what it’s for!
No, it’s not easy to do. Yes, it’s about science and art – but that’s just the background. At the end, it’s an artwork I’m glad a few people appreciate. And if it inspires you to look closer into nature and minerals – all the better.
Actually, I’m in the process of writing a paper on the mechanics behind the scenes. I’ll be happy to send you a copy of it when done. Or if you want a quick answer go to the top menu > about.
If you have any other question, feel free to call me again.
